We called about a seasonal lot for a towing camper we just purchased. Upon arrival we were greeted by the park manager. Very nice kid. He led us to a field right past the weekender area because the owner has to pull you into your spot. Fine. We had minor exterior damage due to wind on our 2005 camper. We started repairs while waiting on the owner's arrival . The owner pulled up in his truck. Not a word spoken for what seemed like an eternity. He then informed us after all getting time off work and our schedules synced that there is a clause in the contract that you cannot have any type of exterior patches nor can you have a camper over 12 years old. Then he proceeded to walk around our camper and point out every single flaw and tell us to "take it back to where we got it, dealerships would never take this in on trade." He offered to let us finish our repair due to an approaching rainstorm. So we did. As soon as the rain stopped they sent out a "lady" to weed eat the grass around the boats we were besides to the point I had grass clippings hitting me in my face. He owner painted a pretty horrible picture for the type of people he lets into his park. We might not have a brand new trailer. But at least we can say we are down to earth nice people. I will never in my life step foot in that campground again. And to the owner of this park, maybe you should have a little common sense and let your office employees question potential customers on the phone. Two simple questions is all you need, how old is the trailer? And any exterior patches? We are pulling into another campground as I write this and are being welcomed with hospitality and warmth, try it sometime.

Attended a family reunion this Saturday. We looked for a camp ground close to our relatives and found Buttercup. So glad we did. We have a 5th wheel stayed in the pull through weekend area. It was very nice lush grass no need for a carpet. Fire ring, and picnic table provided, great tv reception, good wifi most of the time really no complaints. The camp ground staff was so friendly and the seasonals thank you very much for making our stay one to remember. We would highly recommend this camp ground to everyone. In the future with family functions we will make reservations again. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend.

Love this place owners and staff are lovely!!

We have camped here a few times over the weekend. One complaint is that you can't put carpets out for the weekend sites. I totally understand the reasoning about it can damage the grass rather quickly.

My husband found this campgroun on an internet search...We drove up to visit prior to making a reservation. The owner MORE than exceeded our expectations as a fine and gracious on site owner! We made our reservations the next day and felt like we hit the lottery! The campground is close to home -- only half an hour away and we love it here! I checked out all the amenities---Arcade, swimming pool, bingo hall, BATHROOMS! Very clean! Always HOT water and you won't get a burn when someone flushes!!! Dog friendly and kid friendly. We stayed 4 weekends before we asked to be placed on a list for a permanent site. I introduced myself to some of the permanent campers and asked a lot of questions...Made friends and introduced myself and asked MORE questions. There are a wide variety of activities to enjoy! We feel exceptionally comfortable here. There is a wonderful market close by for fresh meats, fruits and vegetables. And shopping is wonderful in Butler. Pittsburgh activities are a hop skip and a jump away. Wonderful activities in the large pavilion and BINGO twice a weekend in the smaller pavilion. Very patriotic and community conscientious owners...We have lined the road in front of the grounds to welcome back veterans from tours of duty and saluted those going to their final resting spots. I just can't say enough good about the people who spend time with us at these grounds. I will say I won't buy something I didn't try on first and visit. We love it here!

We have been there on both a rainy weekend and a dry weekend. Didn't miss the rug for the dry weekend, the rainy one was a different story.

We did like the place enough to try a seasonal site for the up coming season. Owners and staff are very nice. The seasonal campers we have met so far were welcoming.
